Commissioned as part of the project Further Up in The Air, Liverpool
Budget: £5000
If walls could talk... was created in 56 Linosa Close, Liverpool as part of the Further Up in the Air project, a series of month long residencies in a soon to be demolished tower block. The piece was created by carefully cutting and peeling back the leaves of the embossed wallpaper that decorated the flat, revealing the original bare surface of the architecture. The work mimicked the way damp spreads across a room, appeared as if the wallpaper was coming to life.
